Moving Day

The day finally arrived late 2019, when we got the keys and Seagreen was born.

It was an early start, loading the van and cars, and making our 3 hour trip up the motorway.

The furniture was soon in place with all the bits and bobs we had collected, with deliveries of beds, sofas, white goods and the Cabin, soon to follow.

It took a total of 3 months to prepare Seagreen for guests, with a complete overhaul of the garden, deliveries of supplies and linens plus creating welcomes guides and information books for guests. 

The most exciting day was meeting our housekeeper, Catherina, for the first time.  She was positive and excited from the moment she walked into Seagreen and we immediately knew she was perfect for us.  She has been there for every changeover since, through the tough days and the easy days, never complaining or giving up.  We send Catherina a huge thank you for joining us on this journey and we look forward to a lifelong friendship. 

Finally, on the 15th of February 2020, we opened our door to guest and the fun began...
