Days Out

🚗 During your stay at Seagreen View, you may wish to venture out and about and explore. Visit the Lakes, take a drive along the coast or travel north to Carlisle or Scotland.

⛰️ THE LAKES.

Enjoy forest adventures such as Dodd Wood or Noble Knott, lake walks such as Buttermere and Crummock water or visit Keswick with its shopping, Lake walks and crazy golf at Hope Park.

Take the little ones to hunt for the Gruffalo at Whinlatter Forest or see the animals at the Wildlife Park, and for the adults, visit The Lakes Distillery for a Gin tour and then lunch at the Bistro.

🌊 THE COAST.

Travel north to Grune Point for complete peace, where the furry ones can explore, and then on to Bowness-on-Solway to see the end of Hadrian's Wall.

Travel south to Mawbray where you can eat at the Dog Friendly Lowther arms whilst the little ones explore the play area. Carry on to Allonby with its sandy beach, Ice cream shop and community green.

Further on, you will find Maryport, where the little ones can find Nemo at the aquarium, play crazy golf or enjoy some go-karting. There's a Roman Museum to explore and lots of shops for those who seek a little retail therapy.

⬆️ INLAND.

Head for Carlisle and stop off at Cranstons food hall for a few treats. Carlisle is great for shopping but you can also visit the castle and cathedral, or stop off at The Near Boot Inn for a great Sunday carvery. Catch a film at the cinema or take the kids to the trampoline centre.

Just outside of Carlisle you will find the Walby Farm Park for the little ones and the Talkin Tarn park for the furry ones.

Why not visit Scotland and enjoy the marriage museum at Gretna Green or do a bit of shopping. Southerness is within driving distance too so you can wave to Silloth from over the water.
